“You people, you all know who I am, but you don’t know why I’m here.”

It wouldn’t be long before the world found out.

When a denim-clad Scott Hall descended from the crowd and took to the ring during the 27 May 1996 edition of WCW Monday Nitro, fans had no idea they were witnessing a moment that would change the wrestling landscape forever.

Though he was devoid of his trademark gold chains and colorful garb, Hall’s message to the WCW audience was clear: the former Razor Ramon was preparing to wage war on WCW on behalf of Vince McMahon...and he wouldn’t be doing so alone.

Soon Hall was soon accompanied by Kevin Nash, who then proceeded to powerbomb Eric Bischoff into oblivion.

Just like that, The Outsiders had made their mark, but their former employer was none too thrilled about the invasion implications made by the pair. McMahon would sue WCW over the controversial angle, as well as try to continue the Razor Ramon and Diesel characters sans Hall and Nash.

While the lawsuit would result in a settlement years later, the fake Razor and Diesel floundered a few months later.
