10 Amazing Stats On Asuka’s Undefeated Streak

4. Triple Threat

Asuka NXT
WWE

Kept largely hidden due to the untidiness of them amongst her incredible records, Asuka has suffered the pangs of loss on three occasions without actually being pinned or made to submit in the process.

Her first two came in pursuit of the NXT Women's Title before she eventually dethroned Bayley in a TakeOver: Dallas epic.

Whilst chasing the prize, she competed in a January 2016 battle royal to earn a shot at 'The Hugger' the following month. Her lingering aggro with Nia Jax and Eva Marie cost her on the night, eliminated as she was in facilitation of a victory for the 'Princess Of Staten Island' Carmella. Then, just a month shy of passing out in the 'Asuka Lock', Bayley would get by the 'Empress Of Tomorrow' in a house show Fatal Four Way match that also featured Alexa Bliss and Emma.

Beyond that, Asuka was never again placed in a situation that even looked like a defeat - with one last glaring exception. Paired with rookie Daria 'Sonya Deville' Berenato in May 2016, she took the losers share of the purse money when the future Absolution member was flattened by Nia Jax in a tag match that also included Lana. Unburdened by a 'Ravishing Russian', can the division's monster go one further at Elimination Chamber?
