10 Amazing Wrestling Matches You’ve Never Seen

10. Andre The Giant Vs. Cactus Jack (Sort Of)

There's a big trend on Twitter right now of #FantasyBookingTimeMachine (or something like that) where people are plucking two stars from certain eras and putting them in a match together. There's a lot of 2011 CM Punk vs 1999 Steve Austin and the like, but there are also a few incredible shouts.

Chief amongst them is Andre, at the very peak of his giant powers, versus Mick Foley at the very height of his bumping powers. It's not hard to imagine the former throwing the latter around like a rag doll, across entire arenas, and off a few incredibly well-constructed jagged props. Thing is though, it did kind of actually happen, albeit it in a match nobody's really seen.

The year is 1991, so simultaneously a bit too late for Andre and a little bit too early for Foley. The match, a tag-team contest as it happens, took place somewhere in Japan and teamed Andre with Mighty Inoue to take on Cactus Jack and Terminator Hoss. It's not, by any stretch of the imagination, good, but carries incredible intrigue value.

Andre's largely a bystander at this point in his career, and only really appears near the end to collect the pin. Still though, great for helping you wonder what these two could have done together.
