10 Awesome Angles For Stone Cold Steve Austin's WWE Return

1. Steve Austin And The Rock Vs Brock Lesnar And John Cena

The ultimate battle of generations could take place at the next WrestleMania and, if done properly, could be one of the biggest main events in the company's history. We are aware that most people hate tag team matches as a main event. However, given the star power that would be involved, there would be no excuse for not putting on this match. Many of you are probably wondering how you would get to Brock Lesnar and John Cena teaming up, especially after Lesnar nearly destroyed Cena at Summerslam. The fact is that Cena wouldn't have to turn heel because he'd already be a heel when matched up against Steve Austin and the Rock. Most of the audience would boo him out of the building once the biggest two stars of the Attitude Era showed up to challenge him and a partner of his choosing at WrestleMania. So Austin and Rock make their triumphant return and challenge Cena. They tell him that they are sick of Cena saying he's the greatest of all-time and they are here to shut his mouth. They tell him to pick a partner, any partner, for a match at WrestleMania. Once and for all, we will find out who is the greatest of all-time. Cena, being left with no other choice, turns to the most dangerous man in wrestling today: Brock Lesnar. Brock Lesnar and John Cena would enter as representatives of the newer generation. The generation who didn't have to pay dues and were handed million dollar contracts without working one independent date or driving 400 miles and sleeping in a car. Steve Austin and the Rock would represent the Attitude Era. When men faced their problems like men, a babyface never cried on television, and scores were settled with blood, chairs, and fists. Older fans would be incredibly excited to be able to cheer their heroes one more time and root against the new generation of wrestler. In short, it would be the biggest main event in history.
