3. King Of Harts, King Of The World
One of the best matches in the history of WrestleMania was the first one to take place on the tenth edition of The Show of Shows.
After kicking the Hitman's leg out of his leg at Royal Rumble '94, Owen Hart fought his older brother Bret in an absolute classic. Much to everyone's surprise, the blonde-haired Hart won the day, although he had his thunder significantly stolen when Bret won the WWE Title later that night.
This led to two very famous matches between the siblings for the gold. One was at SummerSlam 1994, which was awarded five stars by Dave Meltzer. The other was at a house show 12 days prior, where Owen actually won.
The King of Harts defeated Bret in this lumberjack contest after some outside interference from Jim Neidhart. This treachery got the match restarted, leading to Bret retaining the belt.
Owen was supposedly pencilled in to win the championship properly, but plans were changed. The sorely-missed Hart brother already has an incredible legacy, but imagine just how different it would be if he were a former WWE Champion.
That would have shown that selfish Hitman!
