The 2015 Royal Rumble event is perhaps the worst-received of the last decade, but the WWE Championship triple threat match was a superb all-action affair. Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins, and John Cena put on a classic that would have been worthy of the main event, but it was followed by the 30-man battle royal that saw the winner Roman Reigns booed out of the building.

Fans were dismayed by the early elimination of favorite Daniel Bryan, and the match only became more aggravating for viewers as it went on. The Authority's muscle Kane and Big Show dominated the ending of the match, eliminating more exciting potential winners such as Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose, and to a much lesser extent, Dolph Ziggler.

The 'Big Dog' came out on top and not even an endorsement from The Rock could put a positive spin on the trainwreck of a result the Royal Rumble clearly was that year.

Still, an all-time triple-threat match may still make the show a worthwhile enough watch in itself, especially since fans can now look back more favorably at Roman Reigns' career.
