6. Sami Zayn Vs. AJ Styles

It has been a while since we've seen a truly great Sami Zayn singles match. You have to go all the way back to his epic Battleground 2016 war with Kevin Owens to find his last classic, and while Sami has had strong matches with the likes of Seth Rollins and Chris Jericho since then, he’s one of WWE’s most talented wrestlers, and it’s hard to shake the feeling he’s being misused in this regard.

While Zayn’s win/loss record has actually looked relatively strong in 2017, he still isn’t being given the chance to showcase his in-ring talents on a regular basis. It’s time WWE rectified this situation, and as far as major singles bouts go, they don’t get much more exciting than a showdown with AJ Styles.

They’re both babyfaces, but it's hard to imagine a scenario in which Styles vs. Zayn isn’t absolutely fantastic. They’ve wrestled each other before, but their sole one-on-one bout came on an April 2016 episode of Raw, which greatly restricted their ability to have a knock-down classic. Give them 20-25 minutes of pay-per-view time and the freedom to do whatever they want, and they’ll likely produce one of the year’s best matches.
