10 Awesome Matches WWE Still Has In Its Back Pocket

4. Matt Riddle Vs. Daniel Bryan

Being honest, this fan just wants to see these guys grinning from ear-to-ear after working a 30-minute clinic of submissions, strikes, chain sequences and near falls. Matt Riddle is the kind of opponent Daniel Bryan came out of retirement for, and Riddle could do with that one defining bout to brag about on SmackDown.

Is asking for it to be in the 'Fight Pit' cage too greedy?

No, two babyfaces colliding in an exhibition doesn't exactly merit such a battleground, but WWE could make things work if they weave the right story. Instead of shooting blanks with lame stories about why Riddle wrestles barefoot, why not have him admit to respect for Bryan before almost-heelishly claiming he's the future.

One slap from D-Bry would be enough to sell his distaste for Riddle's emerging arrogance, and then they'd be off to the races. Seriously, just give us the damn match before it's too late and Bryan is content to hang out full time with his kids.
