As mentioned previously, Chris Jericho and Rhyno had one of the better feuds during the Invasion, leading up to the mammoth SummerSlam card.

This reached its apex on the 11th Aug 2001, one week before a 'new' Smackdown! had been advertised, when the WWE came up with an ingenious way to not only justify a new Titantron, but also add heat to a rivalry that was simmering nicely.

After disposing of Hugh Morris (ha ha!) in less than ninety seconds, Chris Jericho made his way back up the ramp to the adulation of the crowd. Out of nowhere, the 'Man Beast' attacked, flattening Jericho with a lariat and then planting Jericho with a stiff suplex on the metal ramp.

Then Rhyno backed up, and the crowd gasped at the prospect of what was to come. The GIF above shows you the outcome and this awesome spot is still fondly remembered by many over two decades later.

Although both men had two very different careers once the Invasion reached its swift conclusion, this spot was easily one of the biggest moments of the entire war. One that is still regular rolled out and run back to this day, only nowadays it usually comes accompanied with Corey Graves turning the air blue!
