5. Sustained Banter Between King Ross & Simon Miller
King Ross and Simon Miller have tremendous chemistry together on commentary, it feels natural and at times like they don't even need to force the issue. Miller's straight up play by play style complements the King's attempts to shove some humour in there. This week, he achieved that mightily.
Not only did Ross introduce a nightstick (to protect himself from The Primate, whom he deemed very dangerous), he also came up with a solution to GM Adam Pacitti's Piledriver problems. This was a 'Piledriver Protector' of sorts, something which turned out to be little more than a plastic hard hat with 'Thirst Aid' emblazoned across it.
Incredulous, Miller couldn't believe what he was seeing. The beer-drinking device, in his mind at least, would not have done anything to protect the unfortunate security guard who had his neck broken by Rampage Brown last week.
Disagreeing, King Ross felt he had come up with something that would save the day. More of these little comedy inserts are needed on Loaded, they help make the show fly in.
