Overall, Dash, Dawson, Amore and Cassady got their in-ring psychology spot on during the NXT Tag-Team Title match. The story was simple, but worked a treat. Amore, as the smaller man, was the one the tag champs used to build heat. This inevitably led to a hot tag for 'Big Cass', who started to clean house. Similar to dives, hot tags can sometimes be tepid nowadays, but this one was over. Amore and Cassady aren't the most obvious match for one another, in terms of their in-ring style. To their credit, the combination just works. Amore soaked up most of the abuse, whereas his big buddy interjected at just the right moments to try and help him out. For their part, Dash and Dawson simply went about their work, they are an excellent wrestling tag-team. No frills, just solid performances consistently. The match turned out to be one of the best on the card. The fans in London seemed desperate to see the babyfaces escape as the new champions, which meant everything Dash and Dawson did was greeted with a chorus of booing. The men involved worked with that spirit from the crowd, delivering a sound match which didn't feel rushed or overbooked.
