10 Awesome Moments From WWE NXT TakeOver: London

6. The Crowd Are Red Hot From The Start

During the initial entry to this article, it was mentioned that fans seemed genuinely happy to see Triple H. Even though the man is portrayed as a heel more often than not on WWE programming, NXT exists in a strange place for 'The Game'. People are aware of how closely linked he is to the brand, and how much work he has done to help develop it. Straight from the off, the big crowd inside the Wembley Arena seemed determined to have as much fun as possible. On social media, there have been some comments stating that they served to spoil some of the show, making it about themselves. That's a negative way of looking at things, because the (approx) 10,000 in attendance made the event feel lively and atmospheric. Absolutely everybody was given a reaction of some sort, and it usually fit in nicely with their character alignment. For example, even though fans know Dash and Dawson are excellent wrestlers, they were greeted as heels. During the opening match between Asuka and Emma, it quickly became clear that this was no ordinary WWE show. The fans deserve a lot of praise for making that the case.
