Both men wanted to tear each other limb from limb, which is something they did a pretty good job of throughout the course of the contest. It all came to a head when Ambrose delivered a brutal superplex to Rollins from the top of an enormous ladder, sending both men crashing to the floor. What followed was a masterclass of how to sell a move as Ambrose flipped over onto his front with pain etched across his face whilst Rollins lay motionless, eyes closed. Both competitors looked like they had put everything on the line to pursue their hatred of each other. It was one of the most dangerous spots of the night, but also one that worked into the narrative of the match perfectly.
