10 Awesome Tag Teams WWE Completely Ruined

7. American Alpha

For anyone confused as to what all the fuss was about, do yourself a favour and watch the closing moments of American Alpha vs. The Revival from NXT TakeOver: Dallas. That's tag-team magic right there, and much of it was down to how well-oiled Chad Gable and Jason Jordan were as a team. So much for that.

There was excitement when Alpha were promoted to the SmackDown Live roster during last summer's WWE Draft. Finally, those who didn't watch NXT would get to see one of WWE's most athletic teams dominate the tag ranks on the main roster. One (inconsequential) SmackDown Tag-Team Title reign later, and Jordan was removed from Gable so he could pretend to be Kurt Angle's son.

Now, Jordan is floundering on the Raw roster and Gable has been put in another team with a returning Shelton Benjamin. It's nice that WWE wanted to push Jordan, but couldn't they just have left American Alpha alone for a little while longer, or kept Gable and Jordan together despite the Angle bombshell?
