10 Awesome UFC Fighters Who Went On Terrible Runs

5. Andrei Arlovski

Not all terrible runs last forever, as Andrei Arlovski can attest to.

Arlovski managed to obtain UFC's Heavyweight title during his initial eight year run with the company. So, when he made his long awaited return to UFC (after six years away) in 2014, fans anticipated another dominant run of form.

That anticipation soon turned out to be unwarranted as - after winning his first four fights back - Arlovski fell to future champ, Stipe Miocic, Alistair Overeem, Josh Barnett, Francis Ngannou and Marcin Tybura in his next five fights under UFC contract.

That could have signalled the end for any normal fighter, but not 'The Pitbull'.

He would bounce back with two victories, before another three losses followed in his next four fights.

Winning against Ben Rothwell in July of 2019, Arlovski looked to be getting back on track once more. He then went on to lose against Jairzinho Rozenstruik at UFC 244 - in just 29 seconds.

Every time he takes a knock back, Arlovski seems to come out swinging. Yet, could his latest KO be the final straw for him?
