10 Awesome Wrestlers WWE Sacrificed For The Greater Good

A red-hot women's division prospect coming out of NXT, Ember Moon struggled to find her place on WWE's main roster following her April 2018 call-up. None of it was her fault, as the former Athena made the most of every scant opportunity with high-octane in-ring performances, but she quickly became a peripheral figure, to the point where WWE decided to use her as a springboard for two of their most maligned performers in November.

Moon was booked to face Nia Jax. Like countless others before her, she worked out of her skin to drag the skill-deficient 'Irresistible Force' towards respectability, though she inevitably lost to the pop-up Samoan Drop.

What followed was even worse, as Tamina hit the ring, teased a confrontation with Jax, then took turns with her fellow Samoan to batter and humiliate the fallen former NXT Women's Champion. Moon was dead, and they'd close the scene by hugging over her corpse.

The Greater Good:

Establishing the God-awful Tamina/Jax alliance that's still going "strong" today, with the duo set to challenge for Bayley and Sasha Banks' Women's Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 35.
