10 Awesome Wrestling Matches You May Have Missed In 2018

4. Rush Vs. LA Park (CMLL - 22 June)

Buddy Murphy Mustafa Ali
CMLL

That this match main evented a card for arguably the second or third biggest wrestling promotion on the planet should exclude it from our list. Sadly, its inclusion speaks as much to its undeniable quality as it does lucha libre's complete lack of attention from global wrestling media.

LA Park vs. Rush is one of the hottest feuds in the game. This has been the case for several years now. Park, the tired old gunslinger, is decades older (and several pounds heavier) than he was as WCW's La Parka. Age has transformed him into a surly, charismatic brawler, and he has the perfect opponent in Rush: an arrogant, rebellious crawler who thought himself untouchable until he ran into Park. It's an ideal clash of personalities, and their matches always deliver.

Watch (for free) as they beat the living piss out of each inside the ring and out, bringing chairs, drinks, power cords, and a glass panel into play. It's complete chaos. Officials try, in vain, to keep it under control, but Rush and Park's mayhem is too wild to constrain. The atmosphere, like the action, is among the hottest you'll hear all year. Get this watched.
