10 Awesome Wrestling Moves That Nobody Ever Talks About

7. Mr. Perfect's Perfect Snapmare

You read the word 'athleticism' a fair old bit on the Wrestling Internet - and you hear it about three times in a single friggin' sentence if you're a fan of AEW Dynamite - but Mr. Perfect was a phenomenal athlete, by the standards of any era but especially the Golden Age, in which he shined as a technician in a hoss world. That he was an expert technician in any world put over what was such an inspired and unforgettable gimmick.

He used that athleticism as his key offensive strategy, most famously with his gorgeous, pinpoint dropkick, but less celebrated was his running neck snap, the majestic arc of which saw his feet fly from one side of that brutal concrete ring to the other. It was also driven by power. In addition to looking beautiful, it also looked very, very painful to endure, thus marking it as the ideal pro wrestling move.

It required the opponent to contort themselves with an unnatural snap.

Apocryphally, Prince surgically removed a sizeable portion of his own ribcage to achieve the sort of action with which Perfect punished his opponents.
