It sounds counteractive to the previous point, but while it is great that there is more overall content to digest as a wrestling fan, sometimes, less is more.

Raw has been three hours long for 12 years. Often, the show can drag when there aren't enough hot angles to sustain such a long program, or when Vince McMahon would rip up the script just before 8 p.m. and create total chaos.

Lately, cutting it down to just two hours has allowed for a more streamlined approach that trims the fat. Big stars don't need to have one or two more repetitive backstage segments just to keep wandering eyes from changing the channel and less popular talent can skip a week here and there without being missed.

It's nice to know that this is only going to be temporary, too, as absence often makes the heart grow fonder. By the end of 2024, fans will be clamoring to see more of the wrestlers that haven't been appearing as often. Come January's shift to Netflix, Raw reverting back to three hours, and SmackDown gaining a third, we'll see an explosion of stars getting more time that we won't have gotten sick of yet.
