5. Triple H's Booking Continues to Differentiate from Vince McMahon's Rigid Ways of the Past
When Vince McMahon first stepped away from WWE, a few changes were implemented, but he quickly came back and the status quo started to rear its ugly head again. However, this year, it all seems to be sticking for good.
The initial shock and awe of the transition of power to what was officially dubbed The Paul Levesque Era could have fizzled out quickly, but thankfully, it only continues to build momentum. More and more, the weekly programming and the premium live events are a refreshing change of pace.
Whether it's something little, such as lifting the ban on words like wrestler, belt, and hospital, or it's the freedom Michael Cole and the commentary team gets when Vince isn't shouting in their ears, all of it creates a much easier product to digest.

Feuds reference histories outside of WWE to provide context that would otherwise have been overlooked, and talent like The Motor City Machine Guns not only were signed, but are treated like stars, rather than being jobbed out on NXT for being "too small" like they would probably be under McMahon.
