10 Awesome WWE Groups That Didn't Get Enough Time

FTRKO The Revival Randy Orton
WWE

The trio of Dash Wilder, Scott Dawson and Randy Orton never really got started in WWE, only existing in the build towards Clash of Champions before being snuffed out by creative.

The Revival and the multiple-time world champion Orton united together against The New Day, with Dash and Dawson taking the titles from New Day members Big E and Xavier Woods, before Orton had a divisive rematch with Kofi Kingston for the world championship.

Leading into the PPV, their unit seemed like a breath of fresh air for all three who hadn’t been working with the strongest material in 2019, and it seemed inevitable that the three would continue their reign over the company as a unit focused on mercilessly imposing their brand of “traditional” wrestling on WWE.

Unfortunately, despite all three men’s desire to keep the group together and build upon it to create a long-lasting stable, the three were split up without much fanfare. The potential of taking a second shot at the group is minuscule, considering that The Revival were granted their releases from WWE this year, and it remains a major disappointment that they were scrapped so quickly.
