10 Awesome WWE Groups That Didn't Get Enough Time
8. Seth Rollins And Jason Jordan
This one obviously ended because of circumstances outside of anyone’s control, with Jason Jordan still being inactive as an in-ring competitor in the two and a half years since the split.
Jordan was ridiculously good: a technical powerhouse in the ring, one of the greatest hot tags in wrestling history alongside former partner Chad Gable, and had made the most out of the ridiculous gimmick of being Kurt Angle’s son. He had nailed that balance of sincere adoration and irritating egotism in the weeks leading up to his impromptu pairing with Seth Rollins.
Rollins was left aimless after regular tag team partner Dean Ambrose got injured, so he was paired with Jordan and given a brief reign with the tag team titles. It should have been filler, like several other title reigns that Rollins has had with random partners, but their dynamic was mesmerising.
The genuine disgust Rollins had for this nepotistic rookie transforming into gradual respect as they tagged together was a great story and got fans invested in their doomed partnership. It’s so tragic that Jordan’s neck injuries have effectively retired him, as there was so much left for him to offer the wrestling business.
