Believe it or not, Kofi Kingston might be one of, if not the most experienced and decorated tag team wrestlers of the last decade. In addition to his countless runs with the Intercontinental and United States Championships over the years, he has perhaps been at his best when fighting in the tag team ranks.

Following his loss of the star-spangled prize in 2011, Kingston was largely marginalised on Monday Night Raw. He soon found an ally in Evan Bourne, who was also doing nothing of note at the time, and they instantly lit a fire under WWE's tag team division. In their tag team match together, they defeated the WWE Tag Team champions before beating them for the belts the subsequent week.

Kingston and Boom had an undeniable chemistry together, and the best part about their pairing was that they did all they could to come across as a true tag team. Despite being thrown together as a makeshift tag team, they wore matching gear, debuted new entrance music and did everything as a unit. They had an excellent reign as tag champs with successful title defenses against The Nexus, Awesome Truth and Primo and Epico before going their separate ways due to Bourne getting himself suspended, injured and later fired.
