The Dirt Sheet Duo of John Morrison and The Miz are best remembered for their entertaining antics and trash talking in the ring. But once upon a time, they were rivals similar to the men they took the WWE Tag Team Championship from in November 2007, Matt Hardy and MVP.

Miz and Morrison were both in hot pursuit of the ECW Championship in the fall of 2007, but when they failed to take the title from CM Punk, they shifted their focus to tag team gold. It was unknown how their huge egos would coexist, but somehow, they turned into best friends. It was almost the WWE equivalent to Step Brothers.

They were successful in their first shot at the straps and went on to reign as champs for a whopping eight months, knocking off challengers from both ECW and SmackDown. Even after they dropped the belts to Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder, they went on to clinch the World Tag Team Championship in late 2008.

Miz and Morrison were the epitome of what makes makeshift tag teams great, helping resurrect the lost art of tag team wresting during their time on top before they split up in the spring of 2009. Here's hoping they will have one last run in them if/when Morrison returns to WWE down the line.
