In June 2009, Chris Jericho and Edge came together for a common cause: they felt they were being slighted by SmackDown general manager Teddy Long. They were granted a shot at and subsequently won the Unified Tag Team Championship the same night they formed an alliance, but due to The Rated-R Superstar getting sidelined with a serious injury a mere week into their run, Jericho was left without a tag team partner.

Enter Big Show.

While he was the last person fans wanted to see Jericho reveal as his mystery teammate at Night of Champions 2009, Show ended up being the absolute best partner Y2J ever had. Again, it was a case of two heels who had nothing going for them at the time joining forces and reeking havoc as a unit.

They were unstoppable for the five months they held the twin titles, beating everyone from Cryme Tyme to The Legacy. No one was safe from their reign of terror, as both brands suffered their wrath. A lot like most of the aforementioned teams, Jericho and Show amicably parted ways soon after losing the belts to D-Generation X at the end of 2009.
