10 Most Awkward Real Life Relationships In Wrestling History

10. Val Venis & Edge

Long before the drama with Matt Hardy and Lita, Adam "Edge" Copeland got married to a woman named Alanah Morley, way back in 2001. Morley just so happened to be the real life sister of Sean "Val Venis" Morley, one of Edge's fellow WWF wrestlers. That's fine and all. You can't help who your heart desires, far more often than not. Val was accepting of the relationship, as he and Edge had been friends for years, even before their time with the company. However, a mere 28 months after they were married, they were divorced, and it was Alanah who filed for it in the first place. Now, realistically, it doesn't matter how or why they got divorced, nor does it matter about the long-time friendship that Edge and Val had. The fact that Edge wasn't able to make Val's sister happy, in one way or another, had to upset Val. If any of you have ever had a sibling, especially a sister, that was unhappy in a relationship, you'd know how Val had to feel, just sitting on the sideline, unable to help. That's not to say Val was waiting for Edge at every arena, with a knife in his hand, ready to attack or anything. However, no matter which way you look at it, things had to be awkward every single day as they both came to work, both as the marriage was failing, and after it had come to an end.
