Since its inception, one of the ways WWE has tried to make WrestleMania feel special is by incorporating a variety of outside celebrities into the production. While there are a few exceptions, for the most part, the famous folks who drop in often seem out of place and aren't always well received by die-hard fans. A classic example of awkward celebrity placement occurred at WrestleMania XXVII.

The event featured what was essentially an ad for the season premiere of Deadliest Catch. For this ill-advised skit, WWE creative decided to go with a crab-eating contest between one of the show's stars, Captain Keith Colburn, along with Mick Foley and Santino Marella.

This failed attempt at comedy ended with the three men punching crab meat and Ron Simmons coming into the scene to yell his signature line, 'Damn.'

It was the sort of criminally unfunny segment that gets wrestling fans made fun of by their peers.
