2. Jeff Hardy Thinks CM Is A Punk
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6GcrIBhBWA One of the most memorable feuds from 2009 was Jeff Hardy's last in WWE. Clashing with CM Punk, the crux of the story revolved around Punk's new heel character, played off his real life straight edge lifestyle. On the contrary, Hardy was cast as a free spirit, and the crime that Jeff was painted as a role model to young children was the basis of Punk's storyline argument. Incredibly, it turns out that a lot of the kayfabe discord between both men actually bled into real life, and the pair have had some heated things to say about one another. It seems a lot of this trouble comes from comments Punk made following Hardy's WWE departure and subsequent arrest, which only served to rub salt into Jeff's wounds and annoy him considerably. More recently, Hardy has been far more diplomatic when asked about Punk, which seems to indicate that the animosity has faded somewhat, but there was a time when the 'Extreme Enigma' and the 'Straight Edge Superstar' were bitter enemies.
