10 Bad WWE Matches From Great WrestleManias

9. Yokozuna Vs. Lex Luger (WrestleMania X)

Bret Hart was not the only wrestler to pull double duty at WrestleMania X - then-WWF Champion Yokozuna was also scheduled to defend his title in two different matches that night.

The first of his two title defenses that night was against co-Royal Rumble winner Lex Luger, who was in the midst of his failed babyface mega-push. Luger was never known for being particularly skilled in the ring, so to have him wrestle a near-600 pound man who was conserving his energy for another match later on was... well, it couldn't have been anything but dreadful.

And dreadful, it was.

There was a point in this match where Yokozuna had Luger in a nerve hold for what felt like 10 full minutes. To make matters worse, the match didn't even end decisively, as special guest referee Mr. Perfect disqualified Luger for pushing him.

After this, Luger would never come close to the WWF Championship scene again. This was probably for the best.
