10 Bad WWE Matches From Great WrestleManias

4. The Playboy BunnyMania LumberJill Match (WrestleMania XXIV)

As if the Playboy Pillow Fight between Torrie Wilson and Candice Michelle at WrestleMania 22 and the Lumberjill Match between Melina and Ashley Massaro at 'Mania 23 weren't bad enough (honorable mentions for both matches, by the way), WWE combined those stipulations together to make a "Playboy BunnyMania Lumberjill Match" for 'Mania XXIV, which pitted Beth Phoenix and Melina against Ashley Massaro and Maria.

Women's wrestling was not taken seriously in WWE back then, as many women were hired as glorified eye candy. What often resulted was laughably terrible matches that were shoehorned into cards so that the audience could take a bathroom break between "marquee" matches.

This match was no exception.

It was as if even God wanted people to disregard this match, as all the lights went out in the arena near the end. And God forbid any of the Divas get any spotlight, as the end of the match was more focused on Santino Marella, Jerry Lawler, and f***ing Snoop Dogg than it was on any of the women who just wrestled.

So, if at any point you'd like a reminder of how far women's wrestling has come, watch this match and see for yourself.
