10 Beloved Inanimate Objects That Didn’t Survive Wrestling Feuds

5. The DX Express

In 2000, D-Generation X was riding high. They had reformed as heels in late 1999, and not only was Triple H the reigning WWE Champion, but his marriage to Stephanie McMahon made him the most powerful man in the company. When HHH defeated The Rock at WrestleMania, Vince McMahon joined forces with his daughter and son-in-law, ushering in the McMahon-Helmsley Era.

With fortunes running so high, it made sense for DX to get a tour bus. Called The DX Express, the bus shuttled the stable from city to city in style and comfort. When the injured Steve Austin was announced as being at Backlash for next The Rock-Triple H bout, though, the bus's days were numbered.

Though Triple H hoped Austin would have his back due to the implication that The Rock had a hand in Austin being run over by a car, that wasn't the case. While DX was in the arena, Austin commandeered a crane, lifted a steel girder, and dropped it on the bus, proving Triple H wrong and causing a huge explosion in one fell swoop.

This wasn't the only incident of vehicular destruction in WWE history, but it was the most impressive... and the most expensive.
