In 2015, The New Day emerged as one of the few bright spots on WWE's programming. No matter how bad things got with Roman Reigns's continuous push, the Randy Orton-Sheamus feud, or the undermining of Seth Rollins's title reign, The New Day could always be counted upon for a great segment.

One of aspect of The New Day's act was that Xavier Woods, who typically sat out during Tag Team Title matches while Kofi Kingston and Big E competed, would bring a trombone to ringside. Eventually, the trombone turned into a weapon, with The New Day using it to defeat The Dudley Boyz and win a tag team ladder match at the TLC Pay-Per-View.

The trombone soon got a name - Francesca. When the group began feuding with a returning Chris Jericho, though, Francesca took the hit. Jericho (who's turned up on this list a lot) destroyed the trombone by smashing it on the floor and breaking it.

Woods soon made up for the absence by introducing a replacement, Francesca II.
