The Royal Rumble has only been held in The Garden twice, which is a shame as the layout of the arena lends itself perfectly to the match. The entrance ramp faces the hard cam, so viewers can see someone making their way to the ring without the need for a cut. Also, those MSG doors are iconic and few people have ever come out of them to a bigger reception than John Cena did in 2008.

Cena returned at Number 30 in the Rumble match after being out of action for nearly four months following a torn pectoral muscles, but fans weren't expecting Big Match John to be back for another few months at least. This was "Super Cena" at his peak and even though fan opinion was very much against him at the time, he still got cheers when he made his entrance.

Cena would go onto win the Rumble match and compete for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania XXIV. Though he didn't win that match and failed to turn the fans back to his side, this Rumble return is still often mentioned amongst the greatest the match has ever seen.
