Literally as this article was being written, Dustin Rhodes sent a tweet hinting at his retirement. If he really is planning on bowing out after a 34-year career, then as people all we can say is thank you for the memories, Mr. Rhodes.
As wrestling fans, however, can we selfishly ask for one more match?
Because, even at 56 years of age, whenever Dustin steps in the ring what follows is usually the match of the night.
Seriously, go back and watch his match with Claudio Castagnoli for proof. Yes, Claudio is one of the most talented wrestlers of this generation, (and - Spoiler Alert - another entrant on this list), but Dustin is able to keep up with him and deliver the type of match that shows why the elder Rhodes brother is still so highly regarded in the business.
Even as his career is winding down - hell, especially as his career is winding down - watching Dustin Rhodes perform remains one of pro wrestling's greatest joys.
