10 Best Big Man WWE Matches Ever

7. Big Show Vs. Mark Henry - Vengeance 2011

Big Show was the first member of Mark Henry’s Hall of Pain, and he didn’t seem to appreciate the induction. In fact, he wanted a little bit of vengeance for it.

In the storyline, Show’s fibula was broken, so he when he healed up he went after Henry and his World Heavyweight Championship. The two long time veterans had been in their share of matches against each other over the years on TV, mainly due to the fact that they had both been in the company since the late '90s. None of those bouts were all that memorable, but their collision at Vengeance 2011 was surprisingly pretty good!

The announcers billed them as a combined 897 lbs., and both men were looking exceptionally massive at that point in their careers. The match told an effective story, which saw Henry targeting that injured fibula, along with dishing out the occasional impressive power move. Henry and Show took each other to their limit and both kicked out of a finishing move. Something big was going to have to go down, and that's exactly what happened.

While Brock Lesnar and Big Show did the spot first, Show was superplexed by Henry and it broke the ring. Unfortunately we didn't get an actual finish to the match, but if you're going to be a little cheap with the ending, you might as well make it incredibly memorable.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
