10 Best Big Man WWE Matches Ever

6. Kane Vs. The Undertaker - WrestleMania 14

The Undertaker and Kane have fought many, many times in their career (probably too many to be honest). But their first match was their best. What that bout possessed that none of their future battles had was a sense of mystery. What would it be like when the two indestructible brothers finally locked up? What kind of hell would they unleash on each other? And how many Tombstone Piledrivers would it take to put Kane away? The answer to that last one: three.

The match itself isn’t exactly pretty. There’s a lot of kicks and punches, and a few submissions that go on too long, but it’s the atmosphere surrounding their fight that makes it so memorable. We’d seen Taker battle forgettable big men at WrestleMania in years past like King Kong Bundy and Giant Gonzalez, but none to that point had been so threatening and intriguing as his own flesh and blood.

Don’t go into this one looking for a technical classic, but it’s a satisfying big man match with one of WWE’s strongest (and admittedly most outlandish) storylines ever backing it.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
