10 Best Big Man WWE Matches Ever

4. Big Show Vs. The Undertaker - Cyber Sunday 2008

The month before Cyber Sunday at No Mercy, WWE gave fans a screwy finish when Big Show knocked out Taker and the ref called for the bell. It seemed it was a way of getting The Dead Man from having to do the job in clean fashion. But the move set up their rematch at Cyber Sunday in a Last Man Standing match, and it ended up being the better outing.

Show walked into the match exceptionally cocky, thinking he had the older veteran’s number. However, Taker’s barrage of punches soon changed his mind. Both men had their working boots on, and put together a fun brawl that the crowd was engaged in throughout. Taker getting chokeslammed off the top of the ring barricade through the announce table, and Big Show taking a brutal looking DDT were among the highlights of the brawl. There was also a few chairshots to the head (luckily, it looked like both men got their hands up), which is something you won't see on TV anymore.

What makes the match even more impressive is that the two had battled years earlier over the course of multiple feuds, but it was never very good. Somehow they both got better with age, and were finally able to deliver a compelling big man battle against each other.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
