5. Bobby Lashley

Be surprised by this instead.

Bobby Lashley's 2018 and 2019 could both be described as nondescript with awful moments. WWE failed to give him personality whilst waffling on about his "three sisters" during that feud with Sami Zayn, and his alliance with Lana was memorable for all the wrong reasons.

Enter MVP. Enter The Hurt Business. Enter consistency. Enter the Lashley WWE has waited on across two different stints with the company. This is the super-athletic man mountain that showed he could be great in TNA, and Bobby should thank MVP for rescuing his WWE career. It's like they've pressed some sort of magical upgrade button.

Again, it's not so much the wins that have made Lashley's 2020 so good - it's more the way he's been presented weekly. Talking has never been a strong suit for Bobby, so he lets MVP handle it. Inside the ring, he looks much more confident too.
