4. Jey Uso

It's amazing what four short months can do for someone's entire career.

Until September, Jey Uso was just sorta' floating around doing bugger all. His brother Jimmy was on the shelf injured and WWE didn't seem interested in using Jey as a singles. Then, suddenly, he was thrust into the spotlight as natural foil for revamped 'Tribal Chief' Roman Reigns, and it's been glorious.

Remember what was said in the opening entry about Daniel Bryan being higher up if he'd been around longer? Well, Jey has been there consistently, but he didn't get to show what he's capable of until WWE needed an interim challenge for Reigns at Clash Of Champions; it may seem contradictory to the Bryan point, but damn...Uso's rise has been special, so who cares enough to bitch?

Matches at the Clash and HIAC rank as two of the best title bouts this year. That was never a given, especially when one half of those matches was a peripheral tag wrestler up until three-four weeks before the first showdown with Roman.

Post-Reigns, WWE must keep pushing Jey elsewhere.
