10 Best Brock Lesnar Feuds Since His 2012 Return
4. Roman Reigns (2015-17)
Heading into WrestleMania 31, Roman Reigns’ rivalry with Lesnar may not have been one that fans particularly wanted to see, but there’s no denying that it ultimately delivered a pretty quality match.
With Lesnar’s WWE Championship on the line, Reigns and the champ went back-and-forth for 15 minutes in a total slugfest, with the challenger especially taking a ton of punishment, including suplexes, knee strikes, a rollicking clothesline to the outside and some brutal open-hand slaps. Of course, the finish was overshadowed by a certain Seth Rollins and his memorable Money in the Bank cash-in, but realistically that was the perfect outcome.
Besides, this wouldn’t be the last time Reigns and Lesnar squared off. What started out as a one-time ’Mania feud has since become something of an ongoing saga. And an entertaining one, at that.
The next instalment came at Fastlane 2016, in a gem of a Triple Threat match that also involved Dean Ambrose, before the pair were reacquainted in another multi-man match at this year’s SummerSlam, which once again delivered the goods.
And given the way things are shaping up, you get the feeling their story isn’t quite over yet…
