10 Best Brock Lesnar Feuds Since His 2012 Return

Here we have another fairly protracted feud, one that included multiple meetings spanning a two-and-a-half-year period between Extreme Rules 2012 and the 2015 Royal Rumble.

The first meeting came with a fair amount of pressure, what with it being Lesnar’s first match back following an eight-year hiatus. Not that that stopped them from putting on a gripping contest, one that stood out for delivering a realism that had rarely, if ever, been seen in WWE.

You could argue Cena’s victory was the wrong outcome, but the company made amends in the summer of 2014 when Lesnar completely steamrolled Cena in an absolute humbling of a title match. After hitting an F5 within 30 seconds, from which Cena never recovered, 16 suplexes saw Lesnar saunter to his fourth world title victory.

Then, they capped it all off with a Match of Year candidate at the 2015 Royal Rumble, in a Triple Threat that also involved the previously covered Seth Rollins.

From the bloody brawl at Extreme Rules to the squash of all squashes at SummerSlam, and with the Rumble three-way providing the icing on a cake, few have delivered a body of work as diverse as Cena and Lesnar’s.
