4. Daniel Bryan Vs. Batista Vs. Randy Orton (WrestleMania XXX)
It's the story that almost never happened but luckily ended up being the best story the WWE could've told it's fans. Initially, Batista was slated to face Randy Orton for the WWE title at WrestleMania XXX only nobody wanted to see it. So in mid February, WWE changed course and incorporated Daniel Bryan into the main event. Triple H and The Authority had screwed Bryan all the way back to SummerSlam costing him titles, getting him beaten up and making his life miserable. D-Bry challenged Triple H to a match to settle the score at WrestleMania but when The Game wouldn't answer, Bryan brought dozens of fans into the arena to "Occupy RAW" where they took the show hostage and the Yes man refused to leave until he got his match, and if he beat Triple H, the main event for the Championship would become a three way. Triple H accepted and in the weeks leading up to Mania, HHH handcuffed Bryan, Stephanie slapped him, they brawled, Orton and Batista were both hated by the fans, and this big crescendo came to a head on April 6th, 2014, when Bryan defeated Triple H in the opening match and won the WWE World Title in the main event. Had CM Punk not left the company and the fans not rejected Batista, Bryan wouldn't have gotten the opportunity, but because he did, it makes this build up one of the most memorable and exciting for any WrestleMania main event.
