10 Best Crowd Chants From WWE SummerSlam 2016
5. “Don’t You Dare Be Sour!”
As I said previously, Stewart’s actual performances
themselves have been pretty good for the most part. And having tasked himself
with filling the sizeable void left by an injured Big E, Stewart took his
obligation very seriously by covering every aspect of Big E’s job. Part of which
is, of course, his New Day introduction.
Obviously this was nothing on the original article, but Stewart gave it a solid effort before the Brooklyn crowd did the rest of the work for him. In fact, they were so enthusiastic that Stewart didn’t even need to bother in the end, as he handed over the reins to the 15,000-plus in attendance.
I’d imagine Big E was pretty proud of the effort. I’d also imagine that his job isn’t in any danger of jeopardy though because there’s still no pre-match New Day hype like that delivered by Big E himself.
Another good contribution from the crowd as they honourably put aside their differences with Stewart for the greater good, just like any stalwart preachers of the power of positivity.
