Even though the Roman Reigns of recent weeks has been a vast improvement on the Roman Reigns of a few months back, the anti-Reigns hipsters continue to refuse to accept him as a babyface.

Luckily, we can let them off here because they were at least channelling that intolerance towards supporting the vastly-underrated Rusev, launching into a chant that many might have scarcely thought we’d ever hear.

During the opening moments of the pre-match scuffle between Rusev and Reigns, Brooklyn would get behind the Bulgarian Brute, showing him not only their endorsement but also their grasp of his native tongue in a chant of “Rusev Machka!”.

Translating to "Rusev crush" (or so a helpful Google forum tells me) it’s of course an homage to the introduction to his entrance music and quite possibly something that we won’t be hearing again in a hurry.

Then again, if the Rusev/Reigns feud continues as expected, that Bulgarian contingent amongst WWE audiences may carry on rising in the coming weeks.
