Mickie James made her name in TNA before arriving in WWE in 2005. She was immediately thrown into a high-profile storyline with Women's Champion, Trish Stratus, playing the role of a obsessive fan.

This story stretched out for months, culminating in Mickie challenging Trish for the belt at WrestleMania 22.

Both women are exceptional workers and the plot driving this match was red hot. It may have only gone nine minutes, but it was an action-packed nine minutes.

James would eventually defeat Trish using her own move against her. Well, that was the plan away - she botched the Stratusfaction horribly and won with a kick to the head instead.

Still, that small blip aside, this match was really fun and showed all the sceptics that female performers could put on a high-profile match if they were given a story and given a chance.

Easily the best women's match in 'Mania history at the time, this is a prime example of why Mickie James deserves your respect and should be considered among the greatest women to ever lace up a pair of boots.
