10 Best Debut WWE WrestleMania Performances
3. Everyone In The Triangle Ladder Match - WrestleMania 2000
The Triangle Ladder match at WrestleMania 2000 is basically a performance art piece underlying how much damage a human body can take whilst still functioning.
The three-way tangle for the WWF Tag Team Championships pitted reigning champs, Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley, against The Hardy Boyz (Matt and Jeff) and Edge and Christian. All three teams were stepping out onto a WrestleMania stage for the first time and they were keen to make it a memorable one.
Chairs were cracked over skulls. Tables were disintegrated. Ladders were left buckled and bent beyond recognition. It's amazing no one was seriously hurt and how a majority of these men are still wrestling to this day is utterly astounding.
Many have called this one of the best matches of all time - certainly one of the best tag team matches. It completely innovated the way in which weapons were used in wrestling and pushed the limits of what was possible in a multi-man match.
It was the precursor to TLC and few (if any) actual TLC matches have ever lived up to their ancestor's legacy.
This is how you make a first impression.
