10. RVD Wins It For ECW - ECW One Night Stand 2006

For every ECW fan out there, One Night Stand 2006 was the moment that their promotion was on top of the wrestling world, if only for one night. In the main event of the show, John Cena defended the WWE title against Rob Van Dam at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. To say the crowd hated Cena would be the most extreme understatement of all-time (pun intended). This was the debut of the infamous "If Cena wins, we riot" sign that hung from the balcony and, while that may have been created in jest, there was an honest feeling that the ECW faithful would tear the building apart if RVD was not successful. The venom spewed to Cena could be felt through the television. When Cena tossed his t-shirt to the crowd, they tossed it back. When he tried again, a man stood on his chair, wiped his butt with the shirt, tossed it back, and then extended two middle fingers to the champion. This man instantly became the biggest babyface in the building. The crowd hung on every move of the match, cheering Van Dam wildly and booing Cena's every move. Seriously, when Cena moved, they booed him. Edge, dressed as a riot police officer, interfered and speared Cena through a table, allowing Rob Van Dam to hit his patented Five Star Frog Splash. Paul Heyman himself counted the pinfall and awarded RVD the WWE title, a title that many felt he should have won a long time ago. For one night, ECW was the king of the wrestling mountain.
