9. Daniel Bryan Conquers The Authority - Wrestlemania XXX

For many fans, Wrestlemania XXX was about hoping WWE would finally listen to them and give Daniel Bryan the title run that fans thought he deserved. For months, Daniel Bryan had been screwed over by WWE, both on and off screen. After defeating John Cena for the world title at Summerslam, Bryan was immediately Pedigreed by Triple H and his title reign was over before it could even begin. At the Royal Rumble, Bryan had a show-stealing match with Bray Wyatt in the opening contest but then was inexplicably left out of the Royal Rumble match. The situation was so volatile that the Pittsburgh crowd completely turned on the show, booing the Cena vs. Orton match out of the building and completely turning on the Rumble match itself when it was obvious Bryan would not be participating. Finally, WWE seemed to have a change of heart and booked Bryan in a position to win the world title at the biggest show of the year. If he could defeat Triple H in the opening contest, he would earn a spot in the main event against Randy Orton and Batista. Bryan was successful against Hunter and, in the main event, was systematically destroyed by the heel contingent of Orton and Batista. After being injured during the match, Bryan rolled off of a stretcher and returned, trapping Batista in the Yes Lock and winning the title when Big Dave tapped out. It was the finish that the crowd wanted to see and the sight of a capacity New Orleans crowd chanting "Yes!" in unison while Bryan held the titles above his head is not something that will be forgotten.
