It was tag team wrestling that defined the early part of Davey Boy Smith's WWE career, his alliance with real-life cousin Dynamite Kid still, to this day, one of the most beloved duos in the company's history (and one that is frequently cited as an example of what a tag divison should be all about).

In his singles run, Bulldog became a permanent fixture on Vince McMahon's pioneering early '90s TV product, although he would eventually garner a reputation as one of wrestling's bridesmaids, forever on the precipice of the main event without quite managing to grasp the world title. To this day, though, he remains the closest Britain has ever come to producing a WWE Champion, and his headline Intercontinental title match with Bret Hart at Wembley in 1992 was a spectacle the envy of many of his contemporaries, as well as a seminal moment for UK fans.
