Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty were the Hardy Boyz of their day, until their relationship hit a sour patch when Shawn launched his erstwhile tag team partner head-first through a barber-shop window.
That incident sparked a prolonged feud which saw the pair face each other several times to settle the score - which was handy because, to nobody's great surprise, they had a heck of a lot of chemistry inside the ropes.
Their best match came not on pay-per-view, though, but on one of the first few episodes of Monday Night Raw in July 1993, in which fans were treated to an early exhibition of the sort of high-octane wrestling that would, in years to come, make Vince McMahon's burly beefcakes redundant.
